Medical ERTraining and Consulting was founded in 2012 by a driven, urban paramedic who felt what she was doing at the time was not enough. She wanted to make a difference, and give back to her people in the rural areas where a lack or shortage of EMS services exists. In order to do that, she saw the need and the value continuous professional development (amongst other training opportunities) would bring to her colleagues, especially those that are in remote areas with limited access to such luxuries.
The founder qualified as an Emergency Care Practitioner in 2006 and in 2014 completed a Contemporary Business Management course through NMMU.
Our focus is mainly on, but not limited to, continuous professional development for paramedics, nurses, and doctors. (see our Services page for more Information).
Without losing focus of the reason behind the birth of Medical ERtraining, a percentage of all profits gained are given to The Lungisa Foundation (www.lungisafoundation.org). Co-founded by Medical ERTraining and Consulting founder in 2014, The Lungisa Foundation is a non-profit organisation that focuses on rural EMS development in the remote areas.
